Congratulations Éamon & Daragh!

The students and staff of Kilcummin NS were absolutely delighted to welcome back former pupils Éamon O’Donoghue and Daragh Keane, following their All Ireland Basketball win last week. The boys are currently Second Year students at St. Brendan’s College. We were all afforded an opportunity to see the All Ireland medals and the trophy on Wednesday, 7th May, when the boys returned for a visit to Kilcummin NS. Both Daragh and Éamon offered lots of advice about basketball, fitness and what it takes to win an All Ireland medal. They patiently answered questions from students and staff. We are so proud of the two boys and we wish them the very best in the future. Thank you both for visiting us and for leading the school in singing our national anthem, Amhrán na bhFiann.
