1st Class bleeding crepe paper art

Miss O Connor’s 1st Class had great fun this week using water and crepe paper to create a print/stain on their shamrocks. We created this effect by sticking crepe paper onto our page using water and allowing the colours from the crepe paper to ‘bleed’ onto the page. We removed the crepe paper and we were left with this beautiful print/ stain.

We then cut out the Shamrocks and pieced them together to create a beautiful display for St. Patrick’s Day!
