Junior Infants, Senior Infants and First Class were delighted to seize the day on Monday, 7th April, and they took advantage of the dry weather for An Taisce’s National Spring Clean Up. Classes were allocated areas to be cleaned around Kilcummin village. Junior Infants, Senior Infants and First Class were delighted to clean our school grounds, while all the other classes ventured beyond the school walls and cleaned by the GAA pitch, Tangney’s Cross, Our Lady of Lourdes Church and grounds. We were delighted to meet Peter the falcon and Liam O’ Reagan from Falconry Kerry on our way to complete our clean up. Liam was visiting the school with Peter to discuss entrepreneurial life with our budding 5th & 6th class entrepreneurs, as part of the JEP programme. Well done to everyone for their hard work. We are doing our bit to keep Kilcummin looking good!
