European Day of Languages 2023

Junior infants are learning lots of new Irish words, songs & poems. We were learning about clothes and colours in Irish this week. Please feel free to use Irish words, such as cóta, hata, geansaí, sciorta/bríste, léine etc. when your child is getting dressed each morning. This will help to consolidate our new Irish words. We were practising lots of our new Irish poems and songs this week, especially on Tuesday, to mark European Day of Languages. Please see attached a poster for your reference.
