Kilcummin Looking Good !
Well done to the 2nd Class pupils who planted potatoes & flower seeds in Páirc an Phobail recently. This initiative was organised by the Kilcummin Looking Good group & the pupils were helped by the Community Employment Participants who are supported by the Department of Social Protection. They had great fun despite the rain! ☔️

Board Game Club
Continuing on from the major successes of Ms.Ke lliher’s book club we have started a Board Game Club every Friday with Ms. Kemple. All students are welcome to join in the fun at big lunch 🃏🎲 If anyone has any spare/unused board games we would be so grateful for the donation. Lá Glas Celebrations
Our school celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge with lots of activities throughout the week ending with our Lá Glas on Friday. Each class performed for the school with dancing, musicians, poems and much more. Thank you to Ms. O’Donovan for all her hard work on preparing the ceilí and to Ms. Condon for her help preparing our musicians. Lá Fhéile Pádraig Sona Duit ! ☘️☘️

Lego Spike

World Book Day

Killarney Musical Society Matinee "All Shook Up!"
Our 4th to 6th Class Pupils enjoyed a great afternoon in the INEC when they went to see "All Shook Up" performed by the Killarney Musical Society. Our pupils even recognised some familiar faces on stage as some of our parents are part of the assemble. A great day was had by all attending.

Christmas Concert
On Monday the 15th December our School Sports Hall was alive with Music as we held our first School Play in our own Hall. The children all looked and sounded fantastic on the Night! We couldn't be prouder of all the performances given on the night!

Visit from Sam McGuire

St. Vincent de Paul Food Appeal
Mr. Paddy O'Sullivan, a former teacher in Kilcummin NS was delighted to collect the St. Vincent de Paul donation boxes in December. Our 6th class pupils have organised this appeal to help families in need and thanks to all your generosity they were able to present Paddy with seven boxes.

Team Hope Shoe Box Appeal
Our Student Council was delighted to hand over the 47 boxes created by our pupils to Sheila for this year's Team Hope Shoe Box Appeal. In 2024, with your help, they sent an incredible 171,675 Christmas Shoebox gifts to children across 13 countries in Eastern Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. Your Christmas Shoebox gift really means a lot to them and brings joy, happiness and hope to their lives.

Halloween Dress Up & Art
School was taken over by ghosts, witches and all sorts of creepy creatures on the last day before our Midterm Break to celebrate the ancient Irish Tradition of Oíche Shamhna. We also celebrated Halloween with Halloween teamed artwork throughout the school.
